This project came about through my buddy Andrew Valentine, who was doing photography for 97ANDY’s upcoming album release. He invited me to the studio while he was shooting, encouraging me to experiment with any creative video ideas I had in mind. With a studio full of film lighting and a haze machine in play, I couldn’t say no.
While time constraints and Andrew’s shoot priorities meant I couldn’t explore every idea I had, I’m really happy with a few of the shots I captured. One standout concept I brought to the table was the overhead spotlight, which, combined with the haze, created some seriously dynamic and moody lighting—everyone in the studio loved it.
